About Vive City Chapel
We are a church with a passion for families, friendship, and finding your God-given purpose. We're all about reaching people and changing lives. This is a family, and a place to call home. It's where everyone's welcome, nobody's perfect, and anything's possible. It’s a place to get help, healing, and hope. If you have never experienced Christ or have been following Him for a lifetime – it doesn’t matter – you’re welcome here.
Our church family recognizes the benefits of cooperation with other churches in world missions. Therefore, Vive City Chapel voluntarily affiliates with the Christian & Missionary Alliance in its national, state, and local expressions.
Formerly known as First Alliance Church established in 1973 and later known as Christ Community Church, Vive City Chapel relaunched in March 2020 and has now grown to connect more with its community in sharing the love of Jesus.
Inspired by John 10:10, our vision is to BRING LIFE to everyone, everywhere, every day.
Our Beliefs
He has eternally existed as the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. The three are coequal and are one God.
He is coequal with the Father and Holy Spirit. Jesus lived a sinless human life and offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all people by dying on a cross. He arose from the dead after three days to demonstrate His power over sin and death. He ascended to Heaven and will return again someday to earth to reign as King.
The Holy Spirit is coequal with the Father and the Son of God. He is present in the world to make people aware of their need for Jesus Christ. He provides Christians with power for wholly living, understanding of spiritual truth, and guidance in doing what is right. He gives every believer spiritual gifts when they are saved. As Christians we seek to live under His control daily.
The Bible was written by human authors, under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is the supreme source of truth for Christian beliefs about living. Because it is inspired by God, it is truth without error.
People are made in the spiritual image of God, to be like Him in character. Although every person has tremendous potential for good, all of us are marred by an attitude of disobedience toward God called “sin.” Sin separates us from God and causes many problems in our life.
We can never make up for our sin by self-improvement or good works. Only by trusting in Jesus Christ as God’s offer of forgiveness can anyone be saved from sin’s penalty. When we turn from our self-ruled life and turn to Jesus in faith we are saved. Eternal life begins the moment one receives Jesus Christ into his life by faith.
People were created to exist forever. We will either exist eternally separated from God by sin or eternally with God through forgiveness and salvation. To be eternally separated from God is hell. To be eternally in union with Him is eternal life in Heaven. Heaven and hell are real places of eternal existence.
Meet Our Pastor
Jonathan Germain and Rebecca Germain have dedicated their lives to creating a space where people can experience the transformative power of God’s presence. Living a fully surrendered life to the Holy Spirit, the Germains operate and minister as one bringing life to everyone, everywhere, every day. Their mission is to spread the transparent love of Jesus and the living Word to people from all walks of life.
Vive City Chapel carries a rich legacy of fiery faith and a fresh vision. Formerly known as First Alliance Church (1970s) and then Christ Community Church (1990s-2000s), Vive City Chapel officially relaunched on March 8, 2020. Emphasizing the importance of legacy and community engagement, Vive collaborates with local and global churches, partners, and organizations to bring resources and hope into various spheres. Vive City Chapel is voluntarily affiliated with the Christian & Missionary Alliance in its national, state, and local expressions.
PASTOR JONATHAN GERMAIN
Pastor Jonathan has a contagious vision to bring life to everyone, everywhere, every day! With over a decade in business and ministry, Jonathan delivers hard biblical truths in a relatable and transformative way. With a fiery vision and an undeniable passion for people, he is the Lead Pastor of Vive City Chapel, in Miami, FL. Jonathan holds a Master of Divinity degree from Alliance Theological Seminary and a Business Marketing bachelor’s degree from Berkeley College. He is ordained as a Reverend with the Christian & Missionary Alliance. He is the husband of Rebecca Germain and the father of two beautiful children.
REBECCA GERMAIN
Rebecca is on mission to champion souls to full freedom! Known for her ability to articulate truth in practical ways, Rebecca excels in transforming complex concepts into actionable steps. She is the Executive Director of Vive City Chapel and the founder of SHE LEADS. Rebecca holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration & Management and is working toward a master’s degree in Pastoral Counseling. She is the wife of Jonathan Germain and the mother of two beautiful children.
