WE'RE BACK!
For the past several Sundays since going completely online, we've been praying, watching, and waiting for the right time to safely return to in-person worship services at our campus. Our ministry teams will still be facilitating ways to connect from your homes, but for those who are ready to join us in-person, we can't wait to see you soon! Visit the rest of our page to find out what to expect!
Reopening FAQ
How will churchgoers follow social distancing guidelines?
We are operating at a reduced attendance capacity in order to practice social distancing. We will have designated doors for entrances and exits, creating a one-way flow of traffic to help the check-in process move quickly and to streamline people in and out of the building seamlessly. We also have created markings on pews to guarantee 6ft distance while sitting.
What measures have been taken to keep the facilitiy clean and safe for people?
We have outsourced our sanitization of the complete building over the past few weeks and months doing extra cleanings of our entire building, especially when it comes to the high-traffic areas such as the entrances and exits. These high-trafficked areas, the restrooms, and the auditorium is going to be cleaned between each of the services as well. Along with that, our staff members and volunteers will undergo a health screening and temperature check prior to serving, and they will also be required to wear a mask while serving.
Will ViveKids be available?
Will Vive@Home (church online) continue?
Will I have to touch an offering plate?
Will we still be doing communion?
This is a very important part of our worship service, so we will take every measure possible to provide this in a safe manner. We will be providing prepackaged communion as people arrive in the facility.
Should anyone not attend our services?
If you are sick, running a temperature, or have recently been in contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 we are asking you to stay home and participate in our online service.
Why was the service time moved from 11:00am to 11:30am?
Are masks required?
We are asking everyone to wear masks inside the building at all times, out of love for our brothers and sisters. Love for one another guided this decision, knowing there are different opinions among us. Children age 2 - 10 are expected to wear masks to the best of their ability, and those under 2 should not wear masks, per CDC guidelines. Please bring your mask, or we will have a limited supply of extras available. Masks are not required outside, with 6’ distancing.
Will there be coffee fellowship?
What is going to be different when I exit?
What if I go home after service, feel sick and later test positive for Covid-19?
If you attend a service and later test positive for COVID-19, please contact the church and let us know. We will need to let others know and ensure everything is sanitized before another service is held.
"If I choose to attend worship, what precautions should I take?"
Can someone pray for me?
We look forward to continuing to join together as we worship, whether online or in person. And we encourage you to join us in asking for God’s continued protection of our church family and for God to bring about an end to the spread of this disease. Pray with us for God’s healing of those who are infected, for God’s peace for the victims and their families, and for open doors for the good news of the gospel to reach those who are without Christ in the midst of this trial.
